Anybody here buying Gold?
« on: February 01, 2009 - 10:28:26 AM »
I just recently purchased 2 Mapleleaf coins. But I am not certain as to the purchasing process.
My broker told me of 2 additional fees involved that pushed my purchase up in cost by 70 bucks a coin.

Is this common?  or did I get ripped??
Hurry,, Duane the tub,,I'm Dwouning....

Sounds to me like he's trying to put some money in his pocket as a commission of some sort.  I don't know a whole lot about that stuff, but I am familiar with buyer and seller fees.  :faint:

Never bought gold, but I do have some silver. Around here its sold at ten over spot, but this is igots not coins.  :dunno:  I also deal with a coin dealer with a physical location.
