Yes, the #'s 318 and auto trans are both included, and both not in the car. Both were rebuilt, with receipts available only for the engine, about 5 years ago. I picked up the car in Feb 2005....and it's sat in my garage ever since. Typical story?
WARNING - SOME OF THESE PICTURES WILL REQUIRE YOU TO USE A FINGER AND SCROLL TO THE RIGHT......I KNOW, I KNOW, IT'S HARD TO DO, BUT PLEASE FORGIVE ME, IT'S NOT EXACTLY "EASY" TO DO ALL OF WHAT YOU'RE ABOUT TO SEE. IT'S TIME CONSUMING!!
It's a great car, very solid, but it does need some assembly......
Here's a few more pictures:
That's the gas tank, and the trunk floor from the underside....
For those of you that like the unmolested dash:
Super solid underside - you can see the driver's floor pan:
disk brake car (duh)
Ugly black rust paint on trunk floor
Body work must be decent, as it's been sitting since 03-04 in primer....and this is all the rust showing up
real solid driver's door comes with car. Saw these doors on the donor car in 91...when I owned my 72 cuda back in high school. The wrecker had the doors in 2005 still... car was gone, unfortunately. I took the ralley dash for my 72 from the same car - a 72 or 73 340 - 4 speed car . you can see the passenger door there as well, with the sexy speaker hole cut into it. The door panels, from my 18 years ago memory were perfect with these holes cut in them....
Grill is like new - it's in amazing condition
Driver's frame rail where the leaf spring attaches. Real decent, light rust typical to a non-undercoat car.
A shot of the quarter. Yes, these are newer quarters, done by the original owner (by the way, I'm the 3rd owner).
dash shot, showing actual mileage - believed to be accurate.
blobs of seam sealer on the wheel tubs. Why do people do this???
more after The Office. It's Thursday people!!

MAN... That's a phenomenal price... I'd love to take that off your hands. Am I reading correctly that Engine and Trans is part of sale, though not installed in car? Geez... Anybody wanna buy my '73 real quick?
