340 T/A block
« on: February 01, 2009 - 01:25:58 PM »

This is dated 11.24.69 VIN is 0B315272, which apparently puts it as an "leftover" T/A motor used on some regular 340 Hamtramck car (Cuda, Duster?) not an AAR or T/A.
Crank & oil pan included. Will need to see machine shop as I picked it up & don't know anything about it except it's a real T/A block.
Will need to be bored as one cylinder has some knicks up top.

Hopefully someone can use this!
Best offer....I've seen a few T/A short blocks recently going for $2000~.
I'm in Mass.

Steel crank, oil pan, windage tray & also water pump housing -but that's basically it.

So, what are the cast numbers on the side?  Got any pictures of the block?

he must have sold it.
I was going to buy it but no return emails.
I figure it went to someone local as that is what he was looking for.

Try pm'ing him.
