New carb for our new 408 stroker. questions

The engine is a Blueprint factory crate, 408 stroker. Just runniing on the street, occaisional burnout. 1 trip a year to atrack and tune.   Big thing is we live at 7000 feet above sea level.   What do you recommend at resonable price?

I recommend a big blower running about 25lbs of boost.  :lol:

Seriously though you probably want a carb calibrated on the lean side in that thin air, like the 1411 750 Ed carb. http://www.jegs.com/i/Edelbrock/350/1411/10002/-1#

I hope the crate engine works for you..... a guy got handed his azz royal by them and screwed him bigtime.... cutomer service insanely badd..... ill try to find the thread... good luck......a guy here locally has a mopar crate 408 and he runs a 650 .... dont thinks its enough...

I like my Holley HP750 Street for my 408. (at only 2200 ft)
