mr.gasket engine set... good stuff?

 engine gasket sets from mr. gasket.  would that be a set I want to use on my `70 440?

I did not like the intake stuff. Did not line up good.  Had to trim the ends of the cork. Better go with Felpro.   :2cents:

I have used there race tear down sets a lot. Never had a problem. But it comes with steel shim head gaskets

Big block 440 doesnt have any cork intake gasket ends :dunno:   I dont think mr gasket makes a metal valley pan gasket. I always use felpro for that myself

I think Mr G is the only one making the steel head gasket for a reasonable price now
 I use FelPro for virtually all gaskets , the 1214 & 1215 intakes gaskets are made to block the crossover port I have not found any other make that has this option
