I'd split it at the factory seam and open it up 1/8" or maybe 3/16" to match up with the quarters and fenders. But that's just me.  :stirpot: :roflsmiley:

yep, thats the t/a i had to make all the t-top areas for, like i told you.
had to make a rear frame rail, and some of the cowl as well.
pretty solid otherwise.

A utility knife with a bunch of new blades will be your friend on the windshield removal. You can even heat the blade with a propane torch to make quick work of that pesky seal. You'll likely have to cut from the inside and outside.

(Just in case you didn't already know all this  :thinkerg: )

A big hammer might be tempting, but not a good idea.  :smilielol:

piano wire and a wood handle at both end and it should cut through the old sealer, do be afraid, the windshield has a little more tolerance then the back glass

thats why your not me.  :poopoke:  :smilielol:

took me 5 hours and about 20 bucks to make this one look fine, and it will never rust. at least not where i touched it.

all finished now, ready for a little finessing.

I always like the way you work with what you have, instead of buying all new. Nice job
