What should be done to protect the backside of the welds?  Some are easy to get at, but the door pillar?

i coat everything with ospho.
and contrary to popular belief, rust cannot progress without moisture.

John is the ospho your using concentrate or reduced ready to use, I have been using the por15 metal ready for years, I wonder how they compair? and is ospho the actual name I might look for it up here.

ok, yesterday and today, i stripped all the remaining roof and quarters off.   :working: :misbehaving:
have to make some bracing, patch some stuff, no biggie. :blah:
but i thought youd wanna see this, i know i was excited to!!!   :woohoo:




and for anyone interested, i have some good used quarters for sale, ill let em go to you guys dirt, and i mean dirt cheap!!!   :smilielol:

wow!!! i wish i would have kept all my donor cars after seeing what you can do! i'm a california wuss-i (now i regret it dearly) got parted out and scrapped of cars with ALOT LESS rust than what your repairing!! geez!
i will keep all parts from my 70 rebuild-just in case someone needs them.

well, for steve, heres some pics sans 1/4's




but heres what i did today...








mocked up, the panels seem to fit ok, im sure they will take some finessing.
tomorrow ill start filling in all the holes, and patching the diseased areas.  :woohoo:
thats my favorite part.
