Looks good John.  Hope I dont find that much rust on my car.  I know it is better in some area's.
Got a pretty good start on my M46 optioned Barracuda restoration but now it is on hold till I can gather more funds.  Still need a few parts for it.  SIU Graduate 75 AAS Automotive Tech, 94 BS Advanced Tech Studies, 1997 MSED Workforce Education and Development

John, looks like your making some ground bro!  Is it an TX9 car with white interior?  So what are you going to do with your Challenger?  Sell it?

O yea there's many of us here in your situation Challenger III
Your in good company and welcome to the site too by the way
You should introduce yourself in the newb intro section

Hey John....kick ass job as usual
Experience is a wonderful thing  :worshippy

By the way....quick question.... if you would be so kind as to help out a no good drunk
I see you made the C channel

I've been making the same part

But my concern in not welding it on yet, is the groove in this piece that the drip rail molding fits into.
(other side)

I'm worried that if that groove is not on there, a lot of things will not go together right.
Do Barracudas even have that groove? I have to assume that they do given that the drip rail molding setup is similar.
How did you go about that issue?
Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks John

you could either flange the area, thus adding a relief for the rail, or just knock it down. its not going to be seen. i had my rails lying under the skin when i checked fitment, and even smooth, i noticed no differance.

and as far as you being a wino, i dont seem to know to many folks who arent on here.

Thanks John, but I have no idea how to flange an angle like that.....wouldn't even know where to begin  :clueless:
It is good to know that it quite possibly might not even make a difference once the drip rail and roof are on....
I do need a lot more of the inner structure before I test fit the new roof and new drip rails first.
Do you still have any spare roof parts dude?
Thanks again man
I hoping to head down to clowns house for the very rear inner structure this weekend.......depending on how bad we get whipped by mother nature the next few days  :stomp:
