Put the new wheels on my car the other day!
« on: February 08, 2009 - 02:59:18 PM »
i finally got my wheels finished and put on the car.  the are dodge truck wheels 15x7 with 235/60-275/60's.  I was going to put the dog dish cap on but i think i am going to leave it just like it is.

Somthin' about that color and wheel combo...   I think it's real mean looking! Where are the caps? Had those tires on my '69 Bcuda. It was the same color.  At first I liked the slotts. But it looks WAY better with the color coded wheels!! Just BadA$$!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!    :2thumbs:Nice choice!!!

Thanks Dave, I got them from the local u-pull-it for $10 each.  I had to blast and paint them of course.  Overall, i think it was a huge improvment for very little money.

I love dog dish rims and I like that look mate, looks killer. There's just something about cop/steel rims, with or without the caps that just screams no frills, get out my way. No chrome, no show, all go. I like the look but personally would add the caps.

I think they look better without caps. Those wheels match your car so well. Definitely a good choice.

Nice!!
The anti billet wheel. I friend of mine had some big steelies off of a truck or something on his 'CUDA.  But then we took it out in the rain one night and.....

After two of them were bent we went with Centerlines on that car too.
