my heart leads me when I am looking for a Us car, I was looking for a 71-72 camino and I found this one on  LA craigslist for $5000; with the exchange rate at that time it only costs me a total of 5000 euros with shipping and duties. nearly impossible to find a solid pick up here for the price. I already make a deal with a friend to swap the big block for a small block at no cost ( rebuilt 350 and all labour for the swap)
Have to paint a 69 mustang before summer and then I will go back to work on the cuda till the end of the year.

Check if the column is all way in.  You have about 1'' of room in the top mounting bracket holes to bolt it.

Use this picture as reference:

I first tred without bolting the top and lower brakets then--- bolting both brackets but still too short . what is the length from the locking braket to the top of the coupler on your car ?

I dissassembled the column yesterday evening and the plastic tabs on the safety system look like tyhey are broken, I LL take picts of them this afternoon

evrything 's ok with the column, I had the cuda shipped to a good metal man to take it to the rust free level

back at my shop with new lower rear quarter, new windshield post, reapired lower corner of driver door and passenger door jamb

I will now strip the cuda to original sealer then add my own sealer,

some picts

have a question about electrical wiring harnesses

I have a Mopar painless kit and a newly refurbished rallye dash harness, the harness to the rear in in perfect condition, it is missing the front harness.

what would you do ?
