the barracuda arrived on friday,
think I will start a new thread, restoration will be a long run,
cuda will be hemi'ed and may swap the 4 spd manual for a 5 speed.

first job : swap the original wiring harness with a painless one.

Looks like your patience paid off.  That's a good looking car - if it runs, I'd drive it for a little while and just enjoy the looks you know you'll get around France.   :2thumbs:

Hell of a nice car to start with.  Hemi and a 5-speed...guess that will work   Is this going to be for show or strip?  What are you going to do with the body?

for the moment, wiring harness is a mess and I am afraid totry to start the 360, maybe i will try as soon as I figure how to make it work without all the harness. I will first try to turn the engine by hand after removing the spark plugs .

good idea to check the wiring first. I was scared to start mine the first time, and it was a good thing I checked the wiring first... there were some wires that would have worked better than matches  :scared:  I cut out about half a plastic bag full that was not original to the car...
do you have a good wiring diagram?

I don't really know anything about the car, just that it was here; http://www.davesneed4speed.com/Default.htm

I saw the car on ebay and contacted Dave about possibly painting my car.
He's a very nice guy and will probably answer any questions you have.
