Here is what mine says under the pic of my avatar on my profile page.  Maybe you need to shrink your avatar pic down to the proper size in order to see it...

Yours is good.  The Engineers is a little big though. The widest an avatar should get is 1.9 inches

I don't know why you can't see it, just trying to come up with theories

ok, but it`s larger than it was before, plus it looks comletely pulled out of propotions. I`ve tried to upload a new one ,even smaller, but it just seems to get worse.  What am I doing wrong here

  On my screen, your avatar looks stretched horizontally. I've never seen that happen before.

yup, I have no idea why... I did notice member ornamental has the same problem...  seems like the picture is pulled into an available space, no matter the picture size.  I`ll try a larger one later on... see what happens

could someone help me out here..?   I`ve tried different sizes and pictures, but it does not seem to have any effect on the size of my avatar. Right now the pic is pretty big, but it just seems to sharpen and not get bigger. It also remains stretched horizontally. This was not the case before we got the new server

well thank you Terry, but the problem is not in the size of the picture, it`s just that for some reason the picture is made square for my avatar instead of staying in the right format.

I noticed on the Google Chrome thread that other people were having problems with how the pages loaded.  I wonder if it's a browser conflict.  I use Internet Explorer 6 at work and IE7 at home and haven't really had any issues, save most of the larger avatars are no longer scroll-barred to fit in the pre-defined space.
