That black looks so cool, your guy definitely did a great job! You're really going to enjoy riding around in that beast, everyone is going to be staring and giving you big thumbsups. haha.

I was going to re-paint my challenger black, but after owning a black G6, it's impossible to keep it clean around my area with all dust/dirt. But it looks so cool... haha

My first 'Cuda was black and I swore never again.  And until now, I've kept that promise.  But this one won't be a daily driver and will be under a car cover most of the time and will have a California Duster in the trunk.   :2thumbs:

Ron came over yesterday and "cut and buffed" the new paint.  I have to admit I cringed when he got out the sand paper and started sanding that beautiful black paint.  But as you can see it came out like a mirror or as I like to say "liquid glass!"

Yes, I had a black Cuda (no AC) and also swore never again!  But with the quality of work your body man is doing, the black will be worth all the pain for how hot it looks...

Thanks Dutch and MizzouRT.
BTW, does anybody know how close "Hot Rod Black" is to the original color on the tail panel? Ron seems to think that it's very close and wants to use that since the original color seems to be a pain to get/match.

:wow:Ohhhh! Baby!! I bet you can't wait to show her off.!! Great work!!! I plan on Black exterior on mine using hotrod black on my tail panel and grille.. It does look like a little more gloss than the original organsol but I barely can notice. Its really up to how pickey you are. BTW I am glad you recieved your door handles and marker lenses. I look foward to your car coming together.

Here's the Organosol tail panel paint code.

Shouldn't be that hard to have made.
It isn't supposed to have a texture. Unlike what some may claim.
