Road Runner is Gone.
« on: February 13, 2009 - 11:17:33 AM »
Well as of last night I don't own a Road Runner any longer.    :woohoo:  A nice guy from Minneapolis came out and bought it. I have to deliver it this weekend so I'm road tripping again. Now all Dodge needs to do is come out with a Yellow Challenger R/T and I'm all over it.  This is a very good Friday 13Th.

How far into the cities are you coming?  Could you maybe bring a hood?   :naughty:  I know its late notice, I'll see if he can get it to you.  What day are you leaving?

Bummer, he cant get it to you this weekend.  Would have been an easy way to get it down here.

I wouldnt be suprised if they come out with the high impact limited #'s Challengers like they do Chargers.  If Chrysler can hold out long enough.

Steve is the hood still in Bismark? The guy lives down by the Big mall on the south side. We are leaving Saturday morning. I would surely bring it if he can get it here.

Dutch  the color is what this guy loved about it. Not to worry though everybody has their own tastes.

Yeah, still there, he said there isnt any way he could get it there in the next day.  I'm about an hour from the mall, but wont have any time tomorrow, otherwise I'd come take a look.  I'll probably see it at MITP I hope.

Well it's now official. After a LOOOOOOG day yesterday the Road Runner is now delivered. Of course not without trouble.    :pullinghair:  I fired the car up and started to back it out of the trailer and hit the brakes to slow down. The peddle went to the floor.  Not a good thing to not even get in his driveway and already broke.    :stomp:    Even though it was the left front hose it still didn't look good. He thought it was kind of funny............ thanks goodness.

I liked that car, I know you wanted it gone... well to sell it but I sure thought that was a nice car.  The new owner is getting a nice ride for sure.

Ken glad to hear the Roadrunner sold and you got it delivered even if the brake hose failed. I hope they do build a yellow Challenger as I for one would like to see many more colors offered and my wife wants a new pink Challenger.
