Will 2005 17" Mustang GT Wheels Fit On My 71 Challenger

Will 2005 17" Mustang GT Wheels Fit On My 71 Challenger.  I don't know if the bolt patters is the same and I have heard that fords are interchangable?  Thanks

I think they do. I do not think however that the wheels are hubcentric so unwanted force is put upon the lug bolts. There are spacers available that take up the space but I dont know who sells them. Might be able to get a machinist to make some if you cannot find them.

Now that I'm thinking about it the front wheels may not fit because of the wheel bearing cap sticking out.  Anyone? Thanks

I tried with a 1" thick wheel adapter but the backspace was still too sevier to clear the upper control arm at full lock...

see the sixtyeights at Discount tire?

Here's the Craigslist link.  What do you think.  They are right around the corner from me and I think I can get them real cheap with cash If they would fit.

You will have to spend another $200++ for 1 1/2" Wheel adapters...

Ford wheels will need some work to fit your front if you have disc brakes. That center hub of a Mopar disc brake is too big to fit into a Ford wheel.

I'm in Glen Burnie, I assume you are some place North of the Beltway?

Mike, these 05 Wheels are like 6.25" backspaced... not just a matter of the hub not fitting, the 1" spacer/adapter solves it but to really correct then needs closer to 1.5"
