A Delorean and the Ecto1?!!  I must go to Walmart!

I've picked up a few of those Dragstrip Demons Hotwheels a while back.  Have to get a picture of them up here tomorrow.

As promised:

They've also got a Sox and Martin 68 Barracuda, but I haven't been able to find one, yet.

my xmods

Hmm, I didn't know they had Xmods Camaros and Challengers...  Are those from Radio Shack?  I still have one of the Gen1 Xmods Nissan Skyline cars.  Bought ALL the parts for it, and then they went and changed everything...

the camaro was from the Transformers Xmods that they released ... and the Challenger is part of the new Xmods set ... you might want to head to ur nearest shack because they are $25 bucks right now ...

Sweet!  Love the AMX and the Challenger!  I have a soft spot for AMX/Javelins.  :grinyes:

like i said its been about a month since i bought any hotwheels... i was in a shopping center and i remembered that a target was close and in my mind i didnt think they might have had anything considering every other target has had crap ... so when i walked by the hotwheels and saw the challenger i said OH CRAP .. then i found the Javy and i was glad i stoped by... the silverado was a bonus because i had seen the other colors on it before but the purple was a no brainer...

Nice AMX!

Yeqah, the shape is just cool.  The slender nose reminds me of a pit viper.  That nose leads to a haunched up rear, looks like it's ready to jump.  Great curves over the wheels....

Here is my latest.... a Challenger promo box
That's cool, what color does it say on the end flap?
In the 90's, I traded a bunch of promos I'd collected in the 70's for a mint orange '70 Challenger promo. It had no box or decals. The dealer got the best of me with that deal, but still I got a promo I really wanted for some promos that didn't do alot for me.
Around 5 years ago, I saw a box for a Challenger promo on ebay, and it even was for an orange one.  I ended up being high bidder for around $40.  It wasn't mint, but it was intact and decent.  I was quite pleased to have a box for my promo.
Then a couple years ago, someone listed a sheet of the original vintage decals on ebay that came with the '70 Challenger promos.  I ended up buying that for around $20 IIRC.  So now I have a '70 Challenger promo model with original box and decals!  :woo:
I just need someone to sell me the original tissue that the promos came packed in when in the box.
I'm always amazed that these boxes turn up from time to time.  What happened to the cars? I can see a box getting thrown away after someone bought the promo, but I can't see someone throwing away the model and keeping the box! :clueless:
