Very kind of you to offer  but I think I have to refuses.  :grinyes:

I have been a lot more careful with what I buy as I'm having trouble stashing stuff!!!!  :faint:

But again, very kind of you to offer!   Thanks!

:pullinghair:  I see a lot of different styles, colors of the M2 on ebay. U can never find them in the stores.  I sometimes wonder if the
employee's stocking the shelf grab them up.  They only make a limited # of them also.

The 71 Duster is a 1/24 or 1/25. It's made by Johnny Lightning.

The 71 Duster is a 1/24 or 1/25. It's made by Johnny Lightning.

That Duster is cool but I now realize the one I was remembering way back when is different, it was 1/18 scale by Amaerican Muscle diecast.  Same color and wing though!  Thought it was the one you got!

I just got this one today!  I dunno how limited it's going to be, but I can't even find it on the hotwheels website:

This is the 2013 SRT Viper which was actually leaked before the car itself.  It was handed out to members of the press at the New York Auto Show, and I just recently acquired it along with a press kit, thanks to eBay.  The detail is impressive, with the SRT badge on the side, the carbon-fiber (which simply appears black) on the rear fascia, the new "Stryker" logo on the front bumper, and impressive detail of the hood.

Hoping I can find another to open - there'll probably be a few at Carlisle I can snatch up!

Birthday present:

Jealous. That's really cool.

On an unrelated note:

Last year I picked up a 1/18th scale 71 Cuda 440 Lemon Twist with white billboards from a guy but it was missing the box so it ended up going in a mini diorama with a boxless Daytona I picked up for 15 bucks. My wife and I went to a show today and a different guy that I bought a 1/18th Chrysler Turbine from was there and he called me over. He had a Mopar for me that he thought was a 71 Cuda because that's what the box said, but it was really an orange 70 Challenger that I already have. My wife has become addicted to Flea-Bay, and she's been showing me some 'unrestored' stuff that was amazing and I thought the Challenger would be a good candidate.
Once I got home I got the car out of the box and found that the Hemi and trans were gone along with the exhaust and the shifter, but that's ok because it will make the 'unrestored/barn find' thing a little more authentic, I also noticed it had the wrong tires, but once again, not a big deal.
I checked the numbers on the box and it turns out that the box is for a Lemon Twist 71 Cuda with a 440 and white billboards so the car may be going back into the box now. For all I know it's the original box since PR is sort of a closed economy.

Birthday present:

Nice!  I have't seen one of those tracks in a long time.  Last time I saw the AAR set was a few years ago at Target only at Christmas time.

Do you know where this set was from?  :clueless:

my wife bought it off ebay from a toy store.
I guess people collect stuff like this, but like a kid I had to open the box and play with the cars!
Not collectable to me
but I think I will pick up one of the Swede Savage #42s to have a matching set

This is a Challenger that I picked up on the weekend. It started out all orange but missing the engine and exhaust and wrong tires. I decided to try a little modding on it and only used the original car, no parts pulled from other cars.
