I never actually bought a ZipZap car, but I did get the Challenger and Camaro shell for it from Radio Shack. As Super Blue 72 said, they were from the 2Fast 2Furious flick. I like that 'Cuda though.

Here is a cool one that makes me smile every time I run it.
It is battery powered, I'll try to post a video link with the pictures.

It was in the toys section of Mopar Collectors Guide years ago. They were suppost to do a Mongoose one also but I never heard if they ever produced it. It was I think 199.00 at the time , might have been to expensive to produce :dunno:

Edgefind:
wow, I just came across this thread and that is one awesome collection.
I have been looking for any 1:18 shaker cuda, either a plastic model or die cast, and you have one thats is exactly what I have, or at least close enough!!
What brand is the sublime green billboard 71 cuda in the lower cabinet?
Could you let me know?
Thanks. It would help in my search. Low priority on my list right now, but I'd love to find one.

If you're referring to the one in the clear case under the two old promos, that is actually a 1:24 Testors Die Cast Model. Here is a link to one so you know what the packaging looks like:

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B001TNOMUG/ref=asc_df_B001TNOMUG974831?smid=A1NY1ZEF1WLI0V&tag=dealtmp1-20&linkCode=asn&creative=380341&creativeASIN=B001TNOMUG

You can find them cheaper though. It's a nice model with most of the work done. I had originally picked this one up at Wal-Mart in '99 along with the clear case and I had assembled it for my dad for his birthday that year. I hope that helps.  ;D

Thanks burdar for the help, but I'm disappointed its a 1:24. The detail is so much better in 1:18.
I'll keep my eye open for a 1:18 scale, ir I'll look for something closer, and modify and paint it to match my car if I have to.

Thanks burdar, you're good at finding this stuff. I've saved this as a favorite so far and just may get it.
Thats an Ertl. Do they make well detailed cars?

I've always been more than impressed with Ertyl's offerings. My only issues have been the huge increase in price over the years, especially for the "limited edition" stuff. It can get pricey really quick. However, if it's something you really like, then it's well worth every penny. :2thumbs:

Farmboy, that Snake is awesome. My buddy has one and I can't tell you how many times I've sat there watching the tires spin.

Wow!  That is wicked cool!

I saw one of those many moons ago but it was out of my price range big time.  Wish I had got it....  :walkaway:

I need to take pictures but, Target has sweet 71 Cuda matchbox sized cars. The copany is M1 i think. I bought Black with Red bilboard, red interior.

They have White with Red Bilboard and Red with White Bilboard. They look sweet. Typical that it says Hemi Cuda but has 440 Bilboards and 440+6 on the hood scoops.
