I picked up a Shinsei 1957 Chevy RC, 1/10 scale.  Was in a gentleman's garage for a while, was very dusty.  Fixed a bad 9v battery plug in the transmitter, cleaned and lubed it and it runs pretty well.  It has a speaker for exhaust sounds that change with motor speed.  You can check out the video at the link.

Non-proportional steering speed so the gas is either on or off which makes for lots of burnouts on rug/smooth floors!  :burnout:

1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

I'd say when I'm in the toy section at any given store there are more grown men looking then kids. I guess you could say we never grow up. It dosn't mater what age you are it's still fun to hunt for that just cool toy car.

Was at a Target Greatland that was remodeling, not sure if that has anything to do with it but the Maisto Custom 1/24 cars and the Harly pickups with a little Harley motorcycle were all $3.24!!!!!

I saw the price tag under the box, said naw, that can't be right, price checked and it was right!  The Challenger, '69 Charger and '70 Nova have really nice metal flake paint.  I really like the paint on the Nova!

I cleared the shelf of customs.  They'll make nice b-day presents for the car guys I know or for the kids.  :)
