Just got this locally off craigslist.  This set is the exact same set I had when I was a kid.  It was the only "big LEGO set" I had.  My dad was a fireman so maybe that's why he got this one for me.

I was poking around CL for car stuff when a LEGO ad came up, opened it and saw this picture!  I was like, "No way, that's the exact set I had when I was little!"  Got it with a LEGO helicopter and a bunch of spare parts for $15.  He even still had the instructions!  It was the seller's when he was a kid, made in 1977.  Not bad to share a bit of my child hood with my kids.

1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

Cool find, thanks for posting.  The packaging describes the Challenger as a Hemi SixPack.  Believe that option is about as rare as the ever elusive 440 Hemi...

I have not been on here forever and a day so putting up these toys might seem like I had a great Christmas when they were all aquired over the course of more than a year.

Just got that issue!  Thanks for mentioning it!  Turns out the owner of both cars signs on this forum.

I would sure trade my Traditional for his Custom anyday!  Thank you for the compliment, I have only been playing a year and a half. Its hard for me, definitely no phenom here but I love it and will keep on trying.
