Picked all of this up for 300 bucks a couple of days ago.

Just wondering if this is fixable? Looks like the edge was shaved off? I dont know just wondering.

These are all off a 73 Challenger. Also wondering why the new flat hood that I have now has the holes for the DODGE letters and the flat hood that I have on the car does not?

Thanks for Looking.

Hey chongo, nice score.  They look decent.

Don't know if the fender is fixable, I'm not a body guy.  Sorry.  Would imagine it is fixable with some work.

As far as the letters go, all years of the Challenger EXCEPT 1971 have the D-O-D-G-E letters on the hood.  Is your car a '71?  :clueless:
1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

I have a slant 6 72 Challenger, The current hood does not have the holes for the Dodge lettering.  Same hood type being that it is flat, but no holes.

What is your scheduled build date of your car?  If it's an early '72, it could have '71 parts on it.  My '72 Challenger has a '71 Rallye gauge cluster from the factory, possible other stuff too like the trunk lid.  My SBD is 8/17/71.  August was the first month of the '72 model year so if you have an SBD in  August it could be a '71 hood if it's original to the car.

Thanks for the replies, I am not sure on the SBD, I looked inside the driver door and above the VIN it has 7-71.

You very well could have a '72 model that was made in July 1971.  I only am aware of 1 other car like that built in July 1971 that was a '72 model year.

Completely random Mopar "toy find", on our Europe trip, we wandered into a toy store in Florence. My Father-in-Law has a Li'l Red Express, sure enough they had an Itailian Li'l Red Hot Wheel that we picked up for him. Those little guys are €2.20 over there! [~$2.85 US].
