:iagree:  Yup.  The deal is the previous owner removed the governor controls and the throttle cable goes right to the throttle butterfly on the carb.  I just have to make sure I don't over rev it, which may have been the case as to why the guy had to replace the intake valve.  Said it snapped when he was passing cars doing supposedly as he claims 65mph.  :screwy:  :screwy:  :screwy:  These are built to do like 24mph tops but when you take off the governor bad things happen, like snapped intake valves maybe.  I doubt he was doing 65mph, although he was passing cars on the highway he was on so he claims....  :dunno:

If you are curious about what I'm doing with it I have a "resto" thread about how I'm bringing it back form the dead here:

http://www.oldminibikes.com/forum/project-logs/86354-2010-baja-warrior-mb200-lil-blue.html

Pretty cool Phil.  Looks like you are having fun with it.  And it sounds like you are getting all the bugs out of it.  I was wondering if it was too cold?  :dunno:  My snow blower seems to need to choke set to one click to keep running.

You should start a separate Minibike thread over here, to keep us updated! :ylsuper:

Your carb is getting plugged. You should be able to take the choke all the way off when warmed up after a minute or two.

This is my aerobatic plane with my Grandson's pedal powered model that I gave to him on Christmas.  He loved it. :bananasmi
It has a 4 foot wing span, tail wheel steering, and 1 kid power.
Big brother has 18 foot wing span and 330 (hemi) horsepower.
I build both of these from drawings.  One took 4 years the other 4 months. ;D

Wow again. Small world!
I knew I recognized the landscape. I am real good at that.
I havent flown in 25 years, but spent much of my first 25-30 years in the aviation business one way or the other, and grew up around several of my Dads toys, including a P-61, an AT-6 and his favorite F-6F Hellcat. Back in the day you could pick up war surplus for pennies on the dollar.
One day I will take you up on your offer.
Tom

OK........... got a little late Christmas gift today.............There are only about 25 of these vehicles and I got one............My son of course is a city policeman and I posted a pic of his new Charger a little while ago.  Blue Lights and all.   My gift is  a Charger with the correct city decals, etc.  The tag says 1971.........that is the year my wife and I got married.  The little car# 210 is his call number. That is also on the car.  He got one too and his tag is 1994, the year he started in police work.  I hope the pics turn out ok................I am impressed........

Only photo's of the real cars so far, but both of these are to be produced in 1:18 scale this summer. To be made by AutoWorld with flip up bodies, very detailed motors, and about 11" long. Should be cool...
