Got home tonight and was presented with this from my 19 year old daughter. She found it at an antique mall/flea market today. Said they had 5 booths full of mainly larger die cast cars. Lots of Mopars she said. I will get by there this week and have a look and take some pics in case anyone is interested in anything in particular.
Box is beat up and there is a scratch on the hood but it may clean up. Works great. Inner headlights come on when you go forward and taillights come on in reverse. The burn out feature uses 2 servo motor lifts that bring rear tires just off ground so they spin freely, there is a reservoir for a special oil of some kind that I assume heats and makes smoke. I do not have any oil to test it yet. Gotta look into it. Pretty awesome find from an awesome kid. I love the fact they call it a 67 cuda, even she knew it wasn't a 67.

Wow!  I haven't seen one of those in a long time.  Those are sweet!  I have one of those, haven't even tried it yet.  I'm guessing it's about 7-8 years old?

I bought one of these at Walmart when they were on the shelves about 2007 or so.  The burnout smoke worked a little for a while, then stopped working at all.  Great looking and sounding car, though.

I'm guessing the smoke oil is the same as used in model trains.

Probably so, would make sense.

This one is an XMODS RC car, missing the controller but I have extra.  Came with a body kit with different front/rear ends and rocker panels and also a upgrade 30,000rpm motor.  These are hard to find, especially the Firebird, as they have been discontinued years ago.

these are my weakness too, I have 125 of them and I can't stop. Even at Carlisle I avoid a certain vender because I know even a walk by will end up in me buying 3 or 4.

Nice!  This guy had the whole set but I just bought the one I liked best. It got damaged in shipping but I managed to get it somewhat back together .
