The history of CC.com
« on: February 14, 2009 - 02:45:41 PM »
I did a little bit of researching and this comes up as possibly the earliest post still findable. But I think there must be earlier ones. 114 before this. They look to be gone now?

I would've liked to see the grass roots on when it all began. I saw that Whitesatin, REV, Charger 69R/T were some of the first members to join. Perhaps some of the old, old timers could post of back then. Talk on how you came across this forum.

Well I was one of the fist 4 members , Myself & Ross were discussing starting a new site & I suggested an E body site to Ross while we were both members on the Dodge Charger site ... Ross ran with the idea & asked if I would handle the tech sections the same as I was on the Charger site at that time , I of course agreed to help , the first 4 members were Ross , His Dad Wizard , Simon who has hosted this site for free for years until recently & 4th myself . I think we have done well with this site from its creation in Dec 01 , I have made a lot of friends here & this has become ingrained as part of my life

I agree, this site has become a part of my life its like a family member or a limb or something.  Some early members who contributed I rember were Wedge Head, LemmonBoy69, Red Line and a few others that are still hanging around.  I remember early on we were wishing we could get more members in here LOL!!!  Look at us now LOL!!!  This place is hopping!!

Perhaps this explains why the earlier threads are now gone.
