Should buckle and webbing color on seatbelts be different?
« on: February 15, 2009 - 12:21:03 PM »
I have a 68 Barracuda originally with green interior. I am restoring it to the correct green, and it would have had dark green seatbelts. I got some belts from a 68 cuda that were green webbing with black buckles. Has anyone ever seen this before? The tags are correct, and the webbing doesn't appear to have been dyed, and the black paint on the buckles is original. Could mopar have actually mixed these colors?

with most green cars everything is green but it could well have used a generic black buckle & matched the webbing color only
