Number on fender-tag
« on: February 17, 2009 - 02:58:22 PM »
The previous owner told me that on the fender-tag, about 2 lines above the Vin# there is a #107177. Would anyone know what that would be for and what it would mean? :clueless: :feedback: :2thumbs:

Should be the sequence number, which will match the last digits on the dash pad VIN.

I looked through some of the de-coding he did and by what he has marked down it is the order #.Does this sound right?

If it is one line above the VIN it is the VON (Vehicle Order Number)

The VON was used to track the car from the time of the original order until it was sold to a customer.
