BEWARE OF THIS GUY! PLEASE READ!
« on: February 17, 2009 - 11:05:36 PM »
Hello everyone,

I just wanted to give you guys a heads up about a guy out of Pennsylvania. He has been going around, accepting wires for cars he has nothing to do with. The police are already involved. His name is Randy and he has been trying to push a GTX off on people as well as a couple of Chargers. Here is some information that I found on the guy:

http://carlislepapd.crimestopperswanted.com/announcements.asp?page=&int_AnnouncementID=1746

From what I have been told, he has done this to quite a few people. I just wanted to let everyone know. I typically try to keep my nose out of other peoples business but I have never seen anyone do something like this and I would just hate to see it cause any issues for anyone.

Thanks,
Shawn

No problem. I personally have never dealt with anything like that and I can only imagine what it must be like for the folks who are having to deal with it. I am actually talking to a couple of guys who had deals wrapped up with him so we'll see where that goes. I'll be sure to keep everyone updated.

Thanks,
Shawn

They host a few damn-fine car shows, but other than that, Carlisle's kinduva dump...

I looked at one or two places for rent there back in 06, and said "nooooooo waaaaaaayyyy!!"

Man these human dingleberries just piss me off! I would be one hot sumbich if I had been done that way. WTF did they release him anyway? Anyone who would do that in the first place is not going to make it right unless they do time.

"Thickey sold the one vehicle on ebay to the high bidder in CA and turn around and sold it also to the person in Italy. the other vehicle Thinkey never own the vehicle he sold to the person nor had he one to sell for another person."

Did the police have a Nigerian scammer write the report? That is terribly written.  :screwy:

I talked to a guy the other day is SD or ND who was sending him money for a Superbird and he found out later it had been sold months earlier to someone else. Now he is out a bunch of cash. Sorry scumbag bastards who take money from honest people. You have to be careful out there these days, people will do anything to make a buck. Good post.

I could see someone gritting their teeth and looking the other way if they got scammed on some parts maybe but when you send a scumbag tens of thousands of dollars for nothing.....well lets just say that is the sort of thing people end up getting shot over. Most people I know work very hard for their money just so some human waste can cheat them out of it? I would feel much worse seeing someone step on a bug than for someone like that fraud to meet a bad end.

I don't know when people started wiring $1,000's of dollars to others with no actual proof that what they are buying even exsists, but I guess anybody that takes that risk can afford to do it. I have to look at a car before I pay for it and see the title.
