    Looks like a '70 grille, but you can't disguise those giant 73-74 bumpers. I can't wait to get rid of mine.

    Well, I'm not going to bash the guy. At least he admitted the front clip was from a 70, and didn't try to pass it off as something it wasn't. The thing that makes me laugh is I have NEVER seen a 72-74 front clip on a 70 Challenger.

     I would say it is because the majority of people prefer the 70-71 cars.

    Plus they probably made more 70 grilles than any other, being that 70 was the best seller.
