And... this actually surprises you?

I think you all give Hollywood too much credit.

Most people in Hollywood believe themselves superior to the common man.  This is simply that same arrogance showing itself once again.

I for one am getting a little tired of Hollywood morons :wavingflag: As a vet I take offense and would enjoy whipping his $ss. Then again my daughters would tell me to love on them and kill them with kindness.

Another acTard running for public office? Just what we need. NOT.

I'd make a Reagan comment, but do not want to start a political rant war....LOL.

I tried to watch that POS movie "The Doors" last week. Kilmer was so bad, I changed the channel after ten minutes.  :puke:

I am certainly not trying to defend him, but is it possible for a human to be this stupid?  This makes Brittany Spears look like a genius.

Can any one verify the source of this article?
I mean this does seem pretty far out there to say...

Plenty of references to the original Esquire interview if you do a google search.

Yes, he actually said this. Esquire, like any other media entity, would have thier t's crosse and i's dotted. They definately do not want to get sued as making money is in the buisness plan. Here is a message from the editor.

The quotes attributed to Mr. Kilmer in Mr. Klosterman’s story are absolutely accurate. The interview was recorded and every quote used in the story was checked by our research department to insure that it was printed precisely as spoken.

It should be noted Mr. Kilmer did not dispute the validity of the quotations when the article was first published four years ago, nor did he dispute them when the article was reprinted in Mr. Klosterman’s fourth book, nor did he dispute them when the story appeared in Ira Glass’s anthology The New Kings of Nonfiction.

Sincerely,

David Granger

Ghost has got it right- the common denominator of actors and politicians is that they both consider themselves in a seperate class from their fellow man- as God's gift to the human race. They both feel the rules only apply to others.

Well I guess that confirms it, Val Kilmer is the stupidest man on the planet.

I agree totally. It never ceases to amaze me how much these people who are paid very well to be our clowns, to entertain us, think that they are some sort of cut-above, that they are doing something special with their lives. They need to do some honest work so maybe they will not have so much reflection time, fooling themselves into thinking that they actually are making a difference in the world.   :screwy:
