I hadn't looked on the inside yet. I was told what team it was and where they were. This front was cut off the crash car. I was told that every team keeps a whole car at the track, so if they crash, they bolt the new parts off the crash car onto their qualifying car being driven. This is why it didn't have the logos, graphics and such on it. But i'm just going by what I was told.
I can get ahold of another cool NHRA item if someone wants a really super cool display.
A 7000 hp nitro hemi engine, with complete parts, top to bottom. But the mag drives are empty, the blower has no blades, the block doesn't have the pistons inside, but it is all correct as if it would install and run as a current engine. Aluminum block and dual plug heads. Carbon fiber hat. Everything. 6500 bucks. Even with the zoomies on it.
My partner built this out of spare parts just for a display engine.
