How much degree of positive caster can you really get?
Does the reinforced K frame really make a noticeable difference?

No personal experience with Firm Feels parts you listed. I would say the upper arms should be in the 4-6 degree range. The reinforced K will make a difference if you drive your car hard, autocross, or are doing a driving school. The biggest difference you'll feel in a reinforced k frame is the stability created for the steering mount. Have someone turn you steering while you watch the box. At the extremes of travel you can see deflection in the box the translates into lost motion at the wheels.

In my stock car days we always welded seams, not only in the K but also the unibody. Gusseting the steering mount was a must.

re-inforcing the K Frame is helpful as often the factory welds are very poor
the factory upper control arms will get you too approx 2.5 * caster
aftermarket tubular upper control arms will get you more caster

Poly strut rod bushings are thicker than stock by about 3/16". I shaved mine 3/16" in addition to running Moog #7103 offset bushings. How to here: http://users.erols.com/mathewg/bushings.html

I can get 5-6 degrees of postive caster if I keep the camber under 1/2 degree. I ran 1.5 negative camber this time and only could get 4.3 degrees positive caster. That's all with stock upper arms.
