Correct.  If its an 8 lug, its the same as any other.  But not all wheels interchange...

I was sure the early ford trucks had the same bolt pattern as dodge??? and it was 5 by 5.5 isnt it?
I ask this because Im buying a 1970 dodge truck for parts and i need some wheels to get her rolling on my trailer. I have a few ford truck wheels and mopar car wheels also. Which ones will fit?
thanks

I think some ford rims are the same bolt pattern but the center hole is different.

The 1/2 ton Dodge trucks & vans of that time period have the same bolt pattern as the Dodge cars. (other than the A-Body)

Ford wheels will fit, but the hole needs to be enlarged to fit on the hub.

Some Dodge 1/2 ton trucks DO HAVE 5.5 bolt pattern...Same as Ford.  Just not sure about about a 1970.  Take both. Let us know what works.

Some Ford CARS have the same bolt circle. As far as Ford trucks go, I have no clue........

I saw a set of Mopar Rallye wheels on a red Mercury parked in Ballard, WA years ago.  :eek7:
