Mopar Battery Cover Color?

I want to get one of those battery covers to put on my Challenger, they list  yellow, green or red cap version with the Mopar inscriptions. I guess Mopar used all 3 from 66-73 so does anyone know what color a '70 big block E body used?

I do have a battery cover for a big block you can have, with the red covers.  It was on my car when i bought it, and I have put the correct battery in.  Where do you live, I can send it to you.

Id like to get one of those too.. what size dimensions are the batteries?

mine is on the small size.

Mine is for a smaller battery than the reproduction one.  I will get the dimensions and post them.

Dimensions are 6 3/4 x 10 1/4, and has the red caps on it.  Let me know.

Stupid question but was a group 27 battery available as an option in 1970 for a small block engine?

MD is correct, I live in Silver Spring.  If AMX guy does not want it, it is yours.  You are in the B-more area aren't you?

That's super nice of you but after looking at the chart I see the red one is for the group 27 , which is what I need but that battery size is pretty much obsolete other than for RV batteries.

 I'll probably go with a yellow so it will fit my group 24 but thanks for the offer.

Judging by that chart, I would assume that the group 27 (red cap) battery was optional for small blocks as well as big blocks?

its getting harder to find group 24 batteries without raised caps and with the correct post spacing to use the "topper"
