An original poster can always remove / delete his own thread at anytime. And he could post sold if not deleted. He/she always has that option. But if they don't do it, it doesnt get done. Since my self and many other members here frequent everyday, reading the forsale items isnt a problem. Now new people joining or lurking through the pages, it is more cumbersome. There has really never been any complainers or problems in this area before. And this post puts the fresh cars for sale even 1 more line down or to a next page by being bumped up all the time.
When browsing the adds, you can also see what date/time/and yr it was done. This kinds lends to a helping hand. And if a seller is really intent on selling a car, he keeps it up to the front page atleast 1 time a week
