Please Remove Cars that have sold
« on: February 23, 2009 - 11:40:52 PM »
I think all sold cars should be removed from the fourm. I'm looking for a project but don't have the time to go through 80 some pages.

Any specific type or price range?  Did you post in cars wanted?   Numbers car ?  Project or done?

The forsale section is not the only place where old posts need to be deleted, but it is good to go through old posts sometimes. Brings back memories and also helps chase down old leads, deals gone bad, or important useful items to picture

I think all sold cars should be removed from the fourm. I'm looking for a project but don't have the time to go through 80 some pages.

If you don't even have the time to search through some pages to look for a "project", how are you possibly going to find the time to actually do a "project"  :poopoke:

Actually I do like looking through this section to see where a car went to, how much it went for, how much $$ it brought for that particular model in that particular condition, reference pics, all the specifics of whether it stayed in the family here etc.......

Maybe a fair thing to do, would be to add to the rules, if it is not there yet that when your car gets sold, to add to your main topic heading SOLD in bold letters for eveyone to see, so you would not even have to open that thread  :dunno: :2cents:

I have seen many do that already, but maybe it can become something that all will do

I'm not a fan of political threads, but I don't feel they should be deleted just because I have to scroll over them to get to a particular post that I want to see.

Here is a thread that doesn't belong in this section for example.  Probably should delete it  :dunno:

I like R/Ts idea, where the person who listed the add should put SOLD into the thread title, but I see no reason to delete the thread unless the lister wants to, but that should be up to them.

Mods, could you please move this to the proper section, so it could possibly be discussed further there

Looks like the SOLD idea is a nice simple solution that all agree on so far  :2thumbs:

Now what's the solution to get the mods to move this to the proper section  :poopoke:  :1zhelp:   :lol2:

Since the only way to apparently get the mods/admins. attention is to post something political, maybe that will get them to move this thread  :poopoke:
Anyone?  :1zhelp:  :horse:

Where do you think it should go R/T?     :dunno:   What is wrong with leaving it in the section about cars for sale letting everyone see what the deal is?    :clueless:   If it is moved elsewhere, folks won't know what has been discussed concerning this section of the forum..

BTW -- I ain't asleep.....     :bigshades:

Yep, I am just waiting on the machine shop to balance the piston.  I have everything gathered up to put it back pogether.  As far as I can tell, all I need to buy in order to get it running is a couple of carb baseplate gaskets and some oil and a filter.  So, I am getting pumped up now....     :woohoo:

Gotta do this  ..   :working:   If I wanna do this..   :burnout:
