I held off on buying the Kevco as I tried to negotiate with Canton on building a line of custom pans. So far it does not seem to be going well and Canton is pretty non-responsive with me other than to say we're looking at it and we'll getback to you. I may end up with the Kevco pan afterall.

Canton's always worked great with me. Of course when I do have a problem they are only an hour away. I think if you spec and order a custom pan for yours you'd be fine. If you're asking them to build many and promise to buy one, you're in for a very long wait. I'd bet there's not enough market for a serious wet sump Mopar road race pan.

Yeah, they seemed real willing to work something up initially. I said I'd buy at least 10 of them of they could fit some pretty stringent application expectations. They have been looking in to it since around September, so it kind of sounds like they aren't interested in it any more. I honestly haven't called them yet this year to hassle them about it.

So, is there a trick to working with them as far as supplying mock up items, relating specific vendor fitment issue, etc?

Ok, so I'm FINALLY putting my oil pickup and pan on my 340.

Did any of you guys with a Kevko pan have to "tweak" the oil pickup to get things to fit right? After bolting it up with the oil pump it seems just a little off, the mount for the oil pickup doesn't quite line up perfect and the pickup sits at an angle, seems to interfere with the pan going all the way on.

Thoughts? I'm thinking a little heat and it should bend to fit pretty easily...
