I was looking for some "Performance parts" on the net and found this :

 **The Best Quality Performance Accessories Shop** (4077) - HID,LED SHIFT KNOB,FOG LIGHTS,XENON BULBS,SEALED BEAM,ALTEZZA EURO TAIL LITES,LED MUFFLER,EL PEDALS.

Is this what passes for Performance parts on Grocery Getters ?

As usual,

The oriental countries try to duplicate good 'ol American designs.

Never buy copies! Buy original and American/Canadian made Genuine Mopar Parts!!!!!  ;D

Ok cudaken here's my 2 cents worth. i'm new around this site & you guys don't know my car YET, but let me tell you it does mopar proud. I've been around through the glory days (late 60's & 70's) & run  the streets like most of us looking to beat up on other muscle. CUDA gets out for cruise nites & night runs looking for kill. But here's my problem. Not much out there. I launch it hard at every chance because i just have to. Believe me i wish there was more bow ties & mudstains to feed on but thats just not the case. So for now i'll refer to it as mercy killing & beat up on the rice rockets if there's nothing else.

concerning people who are blinded by their own 'domestic' pride:

well back in the 60s and 70s, hot rodding was a big trend. it died away in the 80s and early 90s but now has come back again. This new trend is no different, its just a bunch of backyard mechanics working on the hotrods of today. nothing has changed, as different as they seem to you, its still a bunch of kids putting they're time and effort into there rides. Everyone likes to go fast, and everyone has their weapon of choice.

Amen... but at least choose American Iron vs. Japanese Plastic... come on... that's easier than choosing what pair of pants to wear in the morning!!!  :P

4 DOORS ? MOST HONDAS I SEE ARE 4 DOOR MODELS  ;D I BEAT A FEW MUSTANGS (3) -  HEY NOW I GOTS A QUESTION. GIRL (SHE WAS 15 YEARS OLD) HATED ME ( IM 16) AND WAS TALKING **** TO ME ABOUT HOW HER BF'S MUSTANG COULD BEAT MY CAR. ANYWAY HE COMES OVER AND TALKS **** SO I PULL OUT SOME $$$ AND HE SAYS OK. I WAS DRIVING MY DAD'S TRUCK AT THE TIME (1988 TOYOTA 1/2 TON = BETTER ON GAS) SO I TOLD HIM 30 MINUTES ILL BE BACK I HAD TO GO GET MY CHARGER. 29 MINUTES LATER IM BACK AND THIS GUY (HE WAS 18) LOOKS LIKE HE JUST CREAMED IN HIS PANTS. ANYWAY HE TRIES TO MAKE IT FOR "PRIDE" RATHER THAN $$$. LONG STORY SHORT I BEAT HIM BY ABOUT A LEGNTH OR TWO. SHE GOT PIST CUZ HER BF WAS EMBARASSED IN FRONT OF ALL HIS FRIENDS. AND I GUESS HE DIDNNT HAVE ENOUGHT $$$ LEFT TO GO OUT THAT NIGHT OR THE NEXT  ;D

V-8 is the ony way to go. I just hate the 100 mph flyby that ensues afterwards.
2nd place is for the 1st place loser!

American Iron vs. Japanese Plastic ? well i'm defintly not here to start an argument but some of the most advanced materials the world has ever seen is coming from japan. I havn't seen anything near as contributive from GM or Ford in a long time. I think Americans should stop thinking in the past and start to out smart the other countries; we need to beat them at their own game. Besides, beating them at their own game is really what America does best right? The future isnt Iron, it's intelligence. Sure muscle cars are fun to rebuild and race, but lets be honest. If we were still using pushrods 100 years from now, I'd be a little concearned. If we don't innovate and move forward, other countries will, and that is exactly what japan is doing while we still hold on to our pride.

Take pride in innovation, and intelligent competition. This is the way countries evolve.
