Sold my 70 today.
« on: February 25, 2009 - 09:33:03 PM »
Probably should have waited til the market recovered, but not a bad sale. Guy and his wife about a couple hours away bought it and are going to surprise his dad for his 60th birthday on Friday. The mom was driving it away in the pic.

I plan to get another classic hot rod in the future, having too much fun with the new Challenger now.
392 Edition on order
08 Mega Cab 3500 SRW 6.7 CTD, 2" Leveling kit, 33" Mickey Thompson MTZ

I would have kept the  70 and got rid of the new one.  Hope you find another one you like.
Got a pretty good start on my M46 optioned Barracuda restoration but now it is on hold till I can gather more funds.  Still need a few parts for it.  SIU Graduate 75 AAS Automotive Tech, 94 BS Advanced Tech Studies, 1997 MSED Workforce Education and Development

I hear what you are saying, but I never had time to enjoy it, and really wanted to make it go fast, but didn't want to ruin it.

If you have driven a new one, you know why it is very enjoyable. They go like raped apes, and you don't have to worry about a thing. I have already put more miles on the new one than I did the 70 in 13 months.

Just add a pic!  :naughty:

Sorry to here that you sold the '70.  :(  Looked sweet.  But I do understand about driving and enjoying the new car.  :grinyes:

Hey, he said the mom is driving the car.  And who says the babe has to be a woman - can't it be the car?   :smilielol:

Did you tell them about the site and send along an invitation to the soon-to-be proud new owner?
