Proper side window removal
« on: February 26, 2009 - 02:28:58 PM »
Ok, I shattered the rollers in my driver side, side window. I need to take out the window to replace. Any tips? I am not sure how to properly remove.

Rear qtr window?  If so, here's how I do it.

1. Crank the window all the way down and remove the two bolts holding the windowto the lift mechanism.

2. Remove the top adjuster completely from the frame.

3. This should give you enough space to maneuver the window up and out.
