Look what will be there when I get home!!!
« on: February 27, 2009 - 07:36:37 AM »
3 Day to go till I get to start back to the USA   :wavingflag:    :woohoo: That is if the weather cooperates with our plans.  Really windy today and nothing flying at this time at least I can not hear anything.  Really noisy with the wind though.  I hope to have some fun along with all of the work I have to get done when home and taking care of my girlfriend.  It will be so good to see paved roads, grass, trees and every other thing we take for granted.  It will be good to watch TV and get something good to eat as well.  Getting a clean shower will be good also the water we have is rusty here.  Just so many things I miss and can not name them all.  A good bed will be nice also.  Gordon

If I had a good job to go back to I would not come back over either.  I just have some more things to take care of and if I can at least stay for 6 more months I think I can get through with everything I need to.  Gordon

To find a good job, you need to stay around here and look. You should have money saved up to do that. Seems that with your knowledge and degrees you say you have, I would think you would land a job in a month or 2.  In 6 months from now if you go back, you will be making a million post comments on looking for a job anyways right?  The car will always be there , so don't judge your loneliness over seas for just a car getting fixed up.  Come home and be happy.  99.9 percent of cc.c members are home, doing the best they can, and dealing with all the normal everyday issues that come up. You yourself did it before this current job, and you can do it again.

OPSEC Buddy! Talk with an Intel guy and he will let you know things that will boggle your mind with internet intelligence gathering.

Anyway, good luck and congratulations.

Not got a lot saved.  Ex wife took my money almost 40k so that is why I have to work longer.  As for as finding a job before I started this job I did not have much luck.  I was unemployed for almost a year before I started.  I had a contact back there but he got sick and passed away.  I would have to have something lined up to stay.  I could do that but it would be really hard financially.  As for as my car I was not able to get any parts for 7 to 8 years before.  I know that it would wait but I just want to get it done and be able to enjoy it.  It will be really cool living close to Al and helping each other with our projects.  I hope I can get a line on a job while home will just have to see.

I had heard on the news it snowed there.  The pics did not show up for some reason.  I hope it is gone by the time I get home.

I have been there and it is nice around his house.  The pics finally showed up for me.  Guess I better bring a coat along with me.  It is colder here today also.  Thought it was going to rain today.
