M46 Side Scoopes
« on: February 27, 2009 - 11:27:22 AM »
I talked with Scott Harms today.  He just got my Scoopes done and I will be the guiney pig for them.  He is going to send me a set of them to see how they work out on the quarters.  I will let everyone know.  I am going to try a couple of things with them on attaching them to my quarters.  I got all of the instructions on how he said he would put them on.  Just wanted to let everyone know the first set is done and I will have them while I am home.   :woohoo:   Gordon

Please post lots of pics!
Does Scott intend for the scoops to be mounted different from the factory?

There are a few things that Scott wants me to try as for as mounting.  I will post a lot of pics just wanted to let everyone know he has a set done and can make more.  The first set are a test and I will be evaluating them.  Not sure what materials you wanted yours made out of.  I will post the ones I am getting.  They should fit even better than the original ones.  Gordon

When they do come in, we can unscrew mine off and check the fit of his new repro ones on my car to see if it all lines up well
