rear window cranks and door weather stripping
« on: March 01, 2009 - 09:34:13 PM »
OK so i'm just about convinced that i'm missing some hardware. got my door windows in so i decided to put in the rear quarter glass but I cannot find how the rear windows attach to the crank :banghead:. Also does anyone have any pictures of the rubber on the that goes on the door and around the bottom???? Have rubbers but I'm unsure how they fit. I will upload some pictures of my problem tomorrow.....
Thanks

Have the window assembys but they were taken out previos to me getting the car. Now putting it back together I think that there are parts missing from the rear crank assembly.

there is a square slider & spring behind the arm on the regulator , the bolt goes through the round bushing you can see & through a square slider behind that & threads into the aluminum frame
R/T Specialties or Dean @ tilleman@platinum.ca are where I would try first

The bracket is one of four that keep the front windows from rolling up too far. They're called "up-stops". They bolt with allen bolts to the inside of the door. Let me know if you need pics of where they go.

These were taken of the passenger door in a 70 Cuda. You can get new rubber tips from R/T Specialties.
