Hmmm... wonder how I could ship those lines, may be tough.

Wally, they are still in the big box they came in. I hadn't installed them yet

How much for the rallyes al?

Shipping would just murder you all the way to Ca.  I bought the rims in San Jose, then the tires here..

Just make offers, OK?

Probably can't afford it now but I have to ask.  How much for the pipes?
Maybe I could get them over to my barracuda that is down the road from you and have them waiting.
What size are the pipes for the exhaust?

Josh, all the stuff is 440-6 size stuff. 2.5 on the manifolds to the resonators, then 2 1/8th over the axle and to the mufflers then 2 inch tips. I paid around 1k for everything maybe a bit more. That was correct 70 e body manifolds , heat shield, and brackets to.  Did you know that the exhaust system doesn't get welded but only a small tack on the tips?

I'm taking offers now, so throw some prices at me

Sounds like you have a Killer combo of parts. Are you sure you really want to "make it stock" ?

I don't want to make it stock. It is a rust free killer body and extremely fun to hot rod. But on the historic side of this is a rare m46 car that will be almost 100% correct. The engine was missing, but I got one out of another 70 barracuda, and thats as close as it gets.

I am getting ready to build a street car now.

I got a switch and under the dash wireing, but I am not going to let that go. I bought a relay I am trying to see if works so to give a new part number out. Getting a relay is big bucks.

I was curious myself Al. Seems like you spent a LOT of time and money making the car what it is now with the Dana 60, the six pack and so forth. I know you yourself talked about how it's such a great driver & thought you were pretty happy with it. Would it greatly increase the current value to convert it back and if so would it be because you wanted to sell it for the increased value or just one of those things you've just wanted to do?? I was just curious?? :dunno: :clueless: :dunno:

Matt, I'm just preserving the history of the car is all. I really love the way it is right now, but I Just can't see building the car further away from what it is. Some day some collector is going to be searching for an m46 barracuda. There just isnt that many around. Mine is a factory 4 speed, rallye dash, 6 qway seat and other cool options. I will just build a street car.

The driveshaft is the original to the car I had cut down to the dana size. Big u joint in one end and little in the other, Just shortened and balanced.

68 block, kb 237 pistons, eagle rods, standard bearing 68 forged crank.  70 intake that had 400 miles or so on it and was taken off and shelved in 1972. Heads have 214/181 valves, hardend seat, new springs, locks, and retainers, Hv oil pump with 8 qt 6 pk pan. Comp xe 275 hl cam.

Tires have 90% tread on back and around 99% on the front. I bought all this stuff new

Wonder why there's less tread on the REAR tires???  :burnout:  :roflsmiley:

Looks like great stuff, Alan!  :grinyes:
1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

Al,

I'm really interested in the Dana.  I understand there are others who have shown interest ahead of me, but if they fall through, please keep me in mind.  I'd even drive up from Miami to pick it up.

Thanks,

MIKE

Hey Alan,
From one guy that loves seeing history preserved, thank you.

I do want to see at least one correctly done M46 car in person in my lifetime.
