I would say that if the new owner gets them free and clear, he's going to put some effort into selling them himself instead of giving them away, even if it means towing them out and putting them in storage. The guy is a flipper, so he knows the value of the dollar. It's obviously going to be a long, drawn out process between the PO and new owner (of the house), so I think the time for a great deal has passed. I would just keep in touch with the guy and see what happens.
