72 Challenger, A little progress
« on: March 02, 2009 - 06:41:44 PM »
I am just starting tear down on my 72, figured I would throw in some pictures. Gonna need the regular stuff. Quarter extensions, quarters, driver side rocker panel. Couple spots on the frame rails will need fixed. Really not in to bad of shape, considering how long it has sat.
I started with this.

This is how its coming along.

Here is a picture of my new wheels, and tires. I found a good deal on an 8.75 w/489 case 4.30 gear. Its been shortened to 55 inches, braced very nicely, and set up for coil overs. Strange axles, auburn pro limited slip, new brakes. It also came with the Welds, and Hoosier Qtp's. Should be very nice when it is installed. I will have more pictures of the car, and the rear end coming. I just have the wheels hanging on the factory studs, I was anxious to see how it would look.

I think what he is saying is that we are the only group he knows with knowledge about these cars, and keeping us updated will aide him when it come time for a SNAFU and he has to ask questions.

Then again I could be wrong....  LOL!!!
