72 Challenger, A little progress

I will get some more pictures, soon as I get a new camera. I broke the color screen on my digital, so it is junk now . I made some progress today, with taking the engine and transmission out. Found a couple bad spots on the inside front frame rails, noyhing to bad. I should be able to weld a patch in.

I know what you mean there John. I was looking into the cybershot, I also thought about buying the same kodak that I had. It was a good camera. I had it in my rear pocket, and ran into something. So really it was my fault it is broke.

First one is my choice. I have always wanted the T/A wing. Plus I can put my screen name on it, that way everybody knows my condition In a couple years, I am really thinking about doing picture number 2. Thanks for the comment John...Chris

Little update, as I have been working on the Challenger a little lately. Cut the bad areas out of the quarters, and the wheel wells. New parts will be going in soon. I am also bringing the inner wheel wells in flush with the frame. I found an 833 for the car, so I will be going 4 speed. Here are a few pictures of the progress. It will be nice when I can start replacing parts, rather than tearing things apart. They are just cell phone pictures, so they are kind of crappy.

Make sure to check the fitment of the side marker lights.  The marker openings are known for being bad on the skins.   When I origonally had the skins installed on my car the lights weren't even close to fitting.

Looks good and keep up the good work.  Kind of jealous that I have not got mine started like that.  But mine will be even more taken off.  Keep us posted.

I did that when I first recieved the skins. They are off, but I expected that, so I save my originals. I am going to use the original fuel neck area also. Thanks for the heads up though
