ahh i now see what your talking about i have the bracket for 4 headlights, they must have done some searching for this front end and just used what they had i think i have all the parts,i willl post some pics today as yesterday i couldnt get on this site but now i can and ill show you what i have thanks again and yes i am very lucky your are doing a similar project,thanks big time thanks

OK here  is a pic ,they are rusty, but i think i get what you are saying, i wonder if these are 70 fenders or 71 cause the header panel looks like it came from a 71?

If you remove the headlight bucket bracket and post a picture at an angle like I did I can tell you right away.

Looks like you have 71 fenders to me.  :2thumbs: If you swap out the taillights other than the VIN there is no way of knowing its a 70 and not a 71, food for thought.

What he said. The tailpanels are the same on 70 & 71, the taillight housings & lenses are really the only big difference.

Post the first 7 digits of your VIN and we can tell you more. Post your fender tag info and we can tell you LOTS more!

Hey thanks for all the help guys i really appreciate it,i have done a decode and the car is a 70,and now i could make it look like a 71 if i want not sure but ill stay in touch here ,oh btw i needed a tailight housing anyway found a good mark part for  $290.00 shipped to my door i thought that was a pretty good deal,, :thumbsup: :ylsuper:

Check AMD too. Rumor has it that their parts are a little better than Goodmark. Somebody here on the board is an AMD seller if I'm not mistaken.

Does anyone have a pic of how the headlight buckets on a 71 chally install? I am having some trouble seeing where the spring installs. And what with the black and stainless screw for each bucket per side????

Goodmark. i found a tail panel for $211.00 and a deck lid for $239,00 on e bag they are good mark products and look like they are fine reproductions good deal can be had just for looking,thanks guys you all have been alot of help and im sure i will need you in the future,Drew
