WOW,
That thing is off the chain. What's so amazing is the machine assembles a complete working prototype!! I'll tell ya what. We still got skills in this country. It seems like at times we just want to kill free enterprise. I hope these folks are VERY successful!! Made in the USA!! Go USA!! :woohoo:

I've used one of those for my Solid Edge Modeling class at Clemson.  The professor asked us to make a model of an object what would hold 4 liquid ounces, so we made a nitrous bottle. :D  I thought it was really cool.  It takes hours for the parts to be made though.

wow thats unbelievable, although they didnt say what that machine cost the ability to produce something 3d complete working toy or something could be a big money maker for someone. unless like what was mentioned that it takes hours to produce one item.

Pretty cool stuff to be sure, but it only gets you halfway home. You still need to take the ABS or polycarbonate model somewhere to have it made in steel or aluminum.

my brother in law works with this machine and they do strictly plastic parts for automobiles, planes, etc. Anything needing plastic parts, he said the cost is $25K-40K
