as of today NOTHING with the first vendor, that project has stalled, although I have a grille here that another vendor is picking up to have it reproduced. He told me that if he gets it to the manufacture we might see these by spring 2010

Hello,

I would be interested in one of these grilles, also. Have you started an 'interested' list, yet. Perhaps, this could help a manufacturer to see its potential.

Thanks,
Paul

I have watched the market interest poll on moparts and I know there is, This vendor is focused on a conversion kit to convert any year cuda to a 71 convertible, this kit will supply all of the inner structure metal , roof top framing, grille assembly and assorted items to do so. NOT SURE 100% on what all is included in this KIT,

Dave,

I think I know who you mean. I think it's a great idea. Please keep us posted on its progress. I would definitely be interested in a 1971 grille, minus the trim pieces. I already have two complete sets of trim. I'm personally converting a 1974 shell into my 'dream' 1971 'Cuda. A new QUALITY grille would be awesome to have, as the fit and finish is my only concern...I'm not building a 'concours' car. Thanks for all your help in the hobby/obsession.

Thanks Paul.  i'll take the suggestion for 71 grille market interest poll. just need to set it up. It will be cool of coarse it will depend on one kit or two, what is or not included and the obvious the prices,
I will definetly keep the info going as I get it.
