Mighty close-- My very first 'Cuda was BS23V0B157225.  Wish I had kept it.

Hey Barry, out of all the broadcast sheets you have had in your possession, which car if any were ordered just the way you would have? If not that then which one is your favorite?

I never thought of it that way, I would have to review a whole lotta sheets to figure that out.

It would most likely be a Challenger coupe though. I would love to find a /6 or 318 3-speed Challenger coupe.

That is quite surprising considering all the cars build sheets that have passed between your fingers. My favorite is imprinted on my brain forever but unfortunately its made of almost as much unobtainium as a hemicuda convertible  :walkaway:

I already have the performance car I always wanted though. While I have had a lot of fun with it, I also had several /6 & 318 cars that were a blast to own & drive.

If I had the money to persue them there are several of the more mundane cars I would love to buy & save from being turned into hot rods & clones. That is why I bought my 1970 Coronet 4-door. People buy them just for the front fenders for Superbird clones, kind of sad, at least to me.

That said, I have nothing against folks that do build the hotrods & clones or part out four door cars. I do hope that at least a few of the low end cars will survive "as is" though just to keep some of that part of automotive history around.

If I had the choice between one Hemi-Cuda rag top or 30 /6 cars, I would take the 30 slant six cars any day of the week, or sell the Cuda & use the money to track some nice examples down before they are all gone.

I hear ya. There is a 318 70 Coronet 4 door around here that could be bought for pretty cheap but it has some damage. I have been guilty of parting a few decent cars that with a little love and a lot of interior pieces could have been nice drivers. I saw my dream car in a magazine back in the mid 80's. 1970 Gran Coupe convertible Barracuda with 383-4/4 speed/air. It was lemot twist with elastomeric bumpers with a white gut and top. To me it just epitomizes what I love in an E-body, muscle and luxury combined. But then again except for my first 'Cuda I have never had any muscle E's,

He had one that matched already. He found two in it for other cars as well, he is going to send them to me.

I'll post the numbers on them when they arrive, hopefully two more folks will get lucky as well.

I'll bet that Cuda owner is just thrilled!
We are all so lucky to have someone like you who goes to such efforts to get this stuff to the cars they belong to. Thanks.
